Who's the Boss?

October 16th, a Sunday, is national Boss's Day.  This is our opportunity to salute the Top Dog, the Head Honcho, the Big Cheese!

Now, what I am suggesting is not a casual cheers of the Coors Light while sitting down to take in a day's full of football; rather, as with most observed holidays - I recommend that this Sunday holiday be observed the following Monday, October 17th.  This also happens to be Evel Kenevil's birthday - and if you do it right - you can rock both like the daredevil I know you are!

As with most holidays, a gift may be in order for National Boss's Day.  Something practical would be great, allowing your boss to keep up on those innovative and dynamic qualities that allow him/her to rock your professional world.

This Evel Knievel Lego Minifigure lanyard is great for the real fearless leader in your life:

Or perhaps your boss is the down and dirty type...  Another option is the Evel Knievel napkins - for those boss' that dare to do the dirty jobs!

However you choose to celebrate this day of all days for your boss, remember one thing: this person controls your paycheck.  Go big, or go home!

*This day is especially excited for those that are self-employed.  My "go big or go home" advise still applies...
